History Of Lincoln University

Named to honor the life and work of President Abraham Lincoln, who helped end slavery in America through his leadership during the American Civil War. A university was founded under California law after him with officers from Benjamin Franklin Lickey as president down to Edward J Silver serving as vice-president/educational director at its inception before it became known later on that would change people's lives forevermore than anyone could have imagined when they first met each other just four short years ago. Lickey with his wife Susan founded a law study program in San Francisco for veterans returning after the First World War and other working adults which offered evening classes to part-time students while he was working as the western representative of La Salle Extension University's Law Department - an institution that awarded degrees through correspondence courses. The tutorial center developed into more than this, becoming known as "The Shortcut To Success" due to its reasonable terms (a money-back guarantee) coupled with flexibility on when you can take them or how many hours per week they'll let us put our efforts towards education!

In 1927, the Lincoln University campus was located on Market Street in San Francisco. The college offered courses for both men and women at that time with a Department of Special Courses as well as Colleges of Law and Commerce operating day or evening classes co-equally under one roof.

Lincoln University is a historically black college that offers programs in law, commerce, and trade as well as business administration. It also maintains an extension office to help students prepare for LaSalle Extension University's examinations such as the College Board (the American Council on Education). At this time Lickey served both roles at Lincoln while continuing with his work towards providing educational opportunities outside Philadelphia proper by operating two more junior colleges: one located near Oak Hill which offered preparatory lessons westward travelers; another operated out Hagerstown Maryland where graduates would go on West Virginia coalfields jobs after completing their studies.
