Al Patch Park is a family-oriented park with plenty of amenities and activities for kids and adults alike. Al Patch Park is located in Vacaville, California on the eastern side of town. Al Patch was named after Al Casserly who donated the land to the city over 30 years ago and has been used as a recreational area ever since.

Things To Do In Al Patch Park

  • Al Patch Park has a playground for kids, picnic benches, and barbeques available. The park also provides bathrooms with showers in case you want to go there after work or on the weekends.

  • Al Patch Park is great for biking thanks to its wide-open trails that are flat enough even for young children (for example). If not bringing your own bike then rentals can be arranged through one of Vacaville's local shops. Just make sure to call ahead!

  • Al Patch Park tends to get crowded during spring break so it's best to avoid the area if possible especially when traveling by car because parking spaces tend to fill up quickly. Otherwise, check out Al Patch Park this summer and enjoy some fun times at Vacaville's Al Patch Park.

  • The Al Patch Park has a number of different fields and courts for sports. One such field is dedicated to dogs and their owners where dogs can run around off-leash as long as he's under the owner's control at all times (so make sure your dog knows how to behave). The Al Patch Dog Off-Leash Area also has benches, trash cans, water fountains, and even baggies provided so you don't forget anything.

  • Al Patch Park hosts tournaments throughout the year like soccer games on Saturday mornings or flag football every Tuesday night! Be sure to check out Al patch park’s website for more information regarding upcoming events that may be taking place there soon.

Different Outdoor Activities

Al Patch Park is a great place to spend the day outdoors with your family. There are various activities you can do here, and there's something for everyone! The park has plenty of options if an activity sounds like fun to you: biking, hiking trails, dog walking paths (which goes through five acres). You could also enjoy some picnicking; bring along your own food as well as games such as horseshoes and bocce ball. If all that wasn't enough already- Al Patch Park even provides visitors with camping sites too! For those who just want to relax by themselves on an adventure they don't have time for but want to enjoy, Al Patch Park also offers self-guided walking tours.

A city park with an awesome, well-maintained track. Extremely grateful to Vacaville for creating this community resource and providing such a great launching pad into sportsmanship. The lighted path makes it easy on your eyes when running at night or in the morning before class starts up again--and don't forget about all of these other amenities: baseball diamonds and soccer fields just waiting to be used by everyone who comes through town!. This place is new (which means no mosquitoes!), large enough that even if you're not much of an athlete, still have plenty of opportunities to get some high-quality cardio training done here plus enjoy clean bathrooms too.

Al Patch Park is a great place for families and people of all ages! Be sure to check out this park if you're ever in Vacaville or the surrounding area.
