Fentons Creamery is centrally located near downtown Oakland, near the important landmarks of Lake Merritt, Jack London Square and Oakland Museum of California. Our restaurant is just a few short blocks away from the historic downtown neighborhood, which features many hundred-year-old buildings and extensive high-end retail establishments, restaurants and entertainment venues. If you haven’t visited downtown Oakland, you are truly missing out!

Oakland acts as the financial, cultural and political hub of the area as it is centrally located at the intersection of highways 580 and 13, south of Chabot Park and just west of Bay Farm Island. It is situated in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area, and about 11 miles east of the cities of Moraga and Alamo. Some amazing landmarks in the area include Children's Fairyland, Redwood Regional Park, Oakland Zoo and Morcom Rose Garden.

This makes Fentons Creamery (conveniently located on Piedmont Avenue) a centrally located landmark institution that has served generations with its famous handcrafted ice creams, desserts and sauces, can be easily found throughout Alameda County, including the surrounding communities of Berkeley, Alameda, San Leandro, Castro Valley, Danville, and Walnut Creek, California.

, 4226 Piedmont Avenue Oakland, CA 94611: Get on I-880 North from 98th Avenue for 4 minutes. Continue on I-880 North to Oakland Avenue. Take exit 21A from I-580 East for 10 minutes. Continue on Oakland Avenue. Take Linda Avenue to Piedmont Avenue for 5 minutes. Use any lane to turn left onto Oakland Ave ​
  • Directions From San Francisco International Airport to Fentons Creamery 
, 4226 Piedmont Avenue Oakland, CA 94611: Get on US-101 North from Airport Access Rd for 3 minutes. Continue on US-101 North. Take I-80 East to Broadway in Oakland. Take exit 20 from I-580 East for 21 minutes. Drive to Piedmont Avenue for 5 minutes. Merge onto Broadway and then turn left onto Piedmont Avenue. Pass by Citibank and your destination is on your left.
